Retro Game Cafe Visual Identity
Level Up

In 2018, during my time at university, we were given a brief to redesign a local, small business. Developing its branding and visual identity with new graphic assets, language and products. With my passion for games both new and old, I decided to create a new visual identity for a gaming cafe called 'One Life Left'.

I set about developing One Life Left's visual identity into a world of retro pixel art, where gaming nostalgia meets modern cafe culture. Inspired by retro video games, the visual identity pulsates with vibrant pixels, transporting patrons to a bygone era of gaming bliss. Seamlessly integrated gaming language and phrases throughout, ensuring that every menu and interaction resonates with the essence of gaming.

To bridge the gap between gaming and dining, I introduced technological features, including digital menus reminiscent of in-game interfaces and loyalty cards that unlock rewards for indulging in food and drink offerings.

At One Life Left, it's not just about gaming; it's about savouring every moment, one pixel at a time.
